Intermediate Radiology Technician Course Details

They can enhance and sharpen their skills by simulator techniques which can be practised in controlled environment, and allows learner to make the mistake and learn, which is not the option in practising patient.
Key Learning Modules of Intermediate Radiology Course
- Radio imaging equipment components including X-ray, CT and MRI
- CT: Patient preparation and positioning, equipment handling for cardiovascular applications
- MRI: General safety, s/m operation and scanning, Image optimization techniques (T1/T2/PD)
- Advantage workstation browser, Archiving, Networking, Viewer/Layout Manager/Tools/Measurements, Data export etc.
- Set up and identification of artefacts in X-ray, CT and MRI imaging
- Volumetric Image post processing and clinical application of X-ray, CT and MRI
- Contrast Media administration
Delivery & Duration:
- Online video lesson on-demand via GEHC LMS for 2 months.
- Q&A with expert trainer – 10 hours
- Hands-on simulator training in-person format in TMF academy – 2 weeks

- Senior Clinical Application Specialist/Radiologist/Radiology faculty
Eligibility
- Radiology technicians with 1 year experience or students who have completed Basic radiology course
Basic & Beginner Level Training for fresher’s as well as technicians with 3 months of work experience
- Delivery: Online self-paced videos with expert Q&A
- Duration: 60 Days access to Learning Management System (LMS) & 10 hours for expert Q&A sessions
For Healthcare Technicians or Paramedics with 6 months work experience
- Delivery: Blended format: Online on-demand videos with in-person session demos
- Duration: 2 weeks of in-person training on simulator @ Tech Mahindra Foundation SMART Academy + 60 day Learning Management System (LMS) access
For Healthcare Technicians or Paramedics with 1 year work experience
- Delivery: Hands-on Application: Immersion training at hospitals and hands on using the post processing software (AW Server)
- Duration: 60 days access to LMS + 3 days of onsite immersion training + 2 days of in-person session for doubt clearing.
