Key Learning Modules of Advanced Operation Theatre Technician Course
- Overview to Operation Theatre (OT) equipment, principles of anaesthesia machine and its handling.
- Gas physics and low flow anaesthesia, emergency care to administer anaesthesia- adequacy and parameters check
- Preparation and maintenance of OT
- Crash cart drugs
- Radiation protection techniques in OT
- Putting on surgical attire and surgical scrub
- Sterilization techniques and best practices
Delivery & Duration:
- Online video lesson on-demand via GEHC LMS for 2 months
- 10 hours Q&A with expert trainer
- Hands-on simulator training in-person format in TMF academy – 2 weeks
- 3 days of immersion training @Center of excellence site (to be fixed by GE)

Eligibility
- Operation theatre technicians with 2yrs experience or students who have completed Intermediate Operation theatre technician course
