Who can enroll for the Dialysis Technician course?
A student at 10+2 level or a graduate degree in any stream is a preferred candidate for the course, however, they need to be of minimum 20 years of age.
How long is the course duration?
The duration of the course includes 1.5 years of classroom training and 6 months of on-the-job training. The duration encompasses comprehensive training of the dialysis procedure.
Scope:
A dialysis technician, you will be eligible to work in multispecialty hospitals, dialysis centers and home settings under the supervision of doctors and nurses.
Job Role:
- As a dialysis technician you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Operate dialysis machines under doctor’s supervision
- Perform dialysis on patients
- Clean, maintain and sterilize machines.
- Monitor patients undergoing treatment.
